MAINLY MANLY MEN

The idea of what it means to be female and feminine has changed massively over the last century. However, men seem to still be living in the 1800's. Male role models are still all about power, success and physical strength.  How can we accept women into positions of power when young men are still told they have to be in charge. I'm interested in looking at modern ideas on masculinity and manhood. I have been working on a drag king act called Max Izmo to discuss this. The intention is to turn in into a one man full length cabaret show. Equal parts rugged, sexy, queer and fabulous.
